手作りハンバーガー
日本では
ハンバーガーバンに鶏肉や魚のフライ、
焼肉、コロッケなどを挟んだサンドイッチのことも「～バーガー」と
呼称されることがある。
これは、back formation（逆形成）と呼ばれる言語学的現象（-burger の接尾辞化）である。
アメリカ合衆国でも同様に
ミートパティ以外のものをバンズに挟んだ物に「～ Burger」の表現が使われている。
